The Witch’s Daughter

In 1612, Lancashire, Sarra (Jo Hartley), a Nursemaid, is used as a pawn to befriend and deceive a nine year old daughter of a witch. But when Sarra's fear of the girl turns to love, she must decide whether to betray her Master (Burn Gorman) or succumb to the patriarchy in England's most infamous witch-trial.

A proof of concept short film funded by the BFI set around the events of the Pendle witch trials. Emma grew up in the borough of Pendle so these events are very close to her heart.
